My son is 2.5 years old and rather big for his age. He has had a seamless transition into his “big boy bed” and he loves it! There was a slight odor out of the box, but we just let it air out for 24 hours.

We purchased 2 of these mattresses for my daughters new bunkbed. They are extremely comfortable to lay on. I could lay on it and sleep well. The mattresses opened nicely after taking them out of the vacuum sealing came off. They also weren't as heavy as i thought they would be. They are very soft and my girls have no complaints.
